Adaptable variable speed drives

The modular range of 8200 vector frequency inverters in the power range from 0.25 to 90 kW provides a complete and consistent solution with everything you need to facilitate operation, handling, diagnostics and communication. Pluggable function modules can be used to integrate the 8200 vector into the control and automation world of your machine or plant.

The compact dimensions save you space in the control cabinet. For customised cooling concepts, we can offer "push-through technique" and "cold-plate technique" versions. For operation, you can choose to use either the plug-in Keypad XT operating module or a PC running the user-friendly Global Drive Control easy operator software, which is available free of charge.

The devices for 400 V mains voltage are optionally available with the integrated "safe torque off" safe standstill) function from 3 kW upwards.

Ready for immediate operation

The frequency inverters are preset for standard operation. The following parameters are also preset:

  • Controlled acceleration and deceleration due to preset acceleration and deceleration times
  • Assignment of standard functions to inputs and outputs.

Simple

This inverter series features simple operation and handling with a high level of functionality. A clear menu structure and user-guided commissioning with the Global Drive Control easy (GDC easy) parameter setting software enable quick frequency inverter parameterisation and diagnostics. GDC easy is free of charge and is available for downloading on the Internet at www.Lenze.de.

Clear

For operation, you can also use the XT keypad. With 8 keys and a text display, you can quickly access all inverter parameters in the clear menu structure. The XT keypad is also used for status display, error diagnosis and, with its integrated memory, for transmitting settings to other inverters.

The right setpoint source for every application

  • Via setpoint potentiometer at the control terminals
  • Via master voltage or master current at the control terminals
  • Via digital frequency input
  • Via an operating module
  • Via a bus module from a host system

Reliable

An adjustable slip compensation function compensates load-dependent speed variations without complex speed feedback. The maximum current limiting function ensures stable operation at every operating point for both static and dynamic loads. A PTC thermistor can be connected for motor protection.
